How to make a sandwich.

Here's the methods:

1)  Wash your hands so it'll be clean.

2)  Get your bread, 1 knife, 1 cheese in a container, 1 plate, and mayonnaise.

3)  Then get your 1 piece of your bread 

4)  Get your knife

5)  Open the container on the cheese

6)  Use your knife and shove it on the cheese and the mayonnaise 

7) Once you done that, shove your cheese and the mayonnaise into the one side of the bread but in the white part not the brown part and spread the cheese and the mayonnaise around.
8) Get your another 1 piece of bread and put it on the top of the bread that have cheese and mayonnaise.


Why is it important to have a detailed method.
- It's important to have a method because when you don't have a method to make something, you'll get confused or don't know what to do.

Sundial - Math

This is what I learned about sundials.

3 interesting facts I found about sundials.

1) Sundials is a kind of a clock that tells time when there's only sun's sunlight, but sundial can't tell time when the weather is blocking the sun's sunlight and you can't tell when it's been 1 or 2 days because of  the weather blocking the sun.

2) Sundials can't work when your not in the right place, I think that because when I tested my sundial on the outside, but the shadow only stayed in the centre of my sundial, because the sun rotates only on front of my head to up and to the back.

3) In the past, Romans use sundial to tell the time, they make it in the paper and use a thin long stick or a gnomon, they put the stick or the gnomon in the centre.

This is where I found how to make a wood sundial.

Step to make sundial wood

I made some mistake about making a sundial, and that mistake is my lines are not in the right way and the numbers too, I used my pencil to know what's the time in my sundial.

What I found challenging is to measure the lines on my sundial, it was a little difficult to place a line in the right way.

What I learnt about sundial is sundial can't work when your not in the right place, because of the sun is not in the right way.

I had fun cutting the corner of my sundial using the saw thingy and marking the lines and number, to be honest it is difficult to mark the lines on my sundial but i had fun with it.

I didn't know that there was other device that people use to tell the time, like clock candle, hour glass, sundials and other clocks that can tell time, now I know that there's a other clock that can be use to tell time, I'd like to try the hour glass because it's so cool to watch the sand inside hourglass slowly sinking.

This is how I made my sundial.

1. I got a flat piece of wood from the workshop

2. I marked the corner of my sundial and cut it

3. I got a tiny piece of flat wood about 2 times smaller than my first wood

4. I drilled a tiny hole in the centre of my sundial to put the thin stick I got

5. I cut a thin long stick it's about how long my second finger

6. I Glued the tiny piece of flat wood in the centre of my big flat wood.

7. Then I glued the stick in the centre hole of my sundial and wait about 5-6 minutes

8. Then I cut the wood half

9. Then I drawled a lines and numbers on my sundial and have a little decorate

Factual News or Satirical News?

The Onion -  The Onion is a Satirical news website because the videos they publish is so obvious that it is fake. It looks fake because of the acts they do and they're using photos that are edited. I watched one of their news that a teen getting adicted in facebook and internet and she started to ignore her parents.



The New York  Times -  The New York Times is a Factual news because of their video, I watched one of their videos about " Who is Amy Klobuchar " and it really looks real because of what they're showing about Klobuchar, they also use real photos.

This is my opinion on what I read about Butterflies - By Patricia Grace

What kind of language used in the text?
- I think the language they used is normal because to me the way they speak is normal.

What is this text about, how do you know?
- The text is about the granddaughter's story about butterflies. I know it because the characters in the story are talking about butterflies and what happened to those butterflies in her story book.

What does the author want us to know?
- The author want us to know that butterflies are a beautiful creatures that don't need to be killed.


How are characters constructed in this text?
- The granddaughter is a innocent girl that write story, and the grandparents are uneducated and they're supportive.

What kinds of social realities does the text portray?
-  They are poor and hard worker farmers.

I didn't know about Treaty of Waitangi because I'm from Philippines, To be honest I only knew that Waitangi means Family. I learned that Waitangi was signed in 1840 February 6 to September 3, I would like to know more about Waitangi.

What I learned today

Today I learned how to not trust or believe in other things that are not true, like in social media or the fake news, I've seen a fake news that a teen got addicted in Facebook and start ignoring her parents and It may look real but It's not, I watched it from the ONION on internet that makes fake news.

 I also learned not to take too much time on gadgets because it can cause trouble on your health. I have a suggestion from you to not be addicted on Facebook or internet and not always believing other things that are not true.
