What we did in this experiment is we separate the liquid form the solid.
What happened to our experiment is that there's 3 different types of coke, one is the normal coke with sugar, two is the diet coke, and three is the no sugar coke zero. My group picked the zero one.
What happened to the normal coke, first the water from coke is boiling and it evaporates through the conical flask and it goes through the delivery tubes and flows to the tube, the water vapour is gather in a boiling tube and condenses it back to liquid and the coke from the conical flask left a liquid sugar.
I'm pretty sure that's what happened to our experiment because the normal coke is the only one that leaves a sugar from the conical flask and the other cokes only leaves a liquid from the conical flask.
All those happened because of the Bunsen burner boiling the coke under it and while the coke is boiling, it evaporates the water from the coke and goes in the tube, and when the water from coke is gone, the coke leaves a sugar left behind.
Our experiments were successful because all of our coke experiments happened the same time but not the same thing happened because all of us picked one of the types of coke and my group picked the zero one, maybe next time I'll mix the two cokes and see what's happens.
Wow Ian, what a great summary! Would have been great if you published the first part too :) You have explained what happened well.
