This is my opinion on what I read about Butterflies - By Patricia Grace

What kind of language used in the text?
- I think the language they used is normal because to me the way they speak is normal.

What is this text about, how do you know?
- The text is about the granddaughter's story about butterflies. I know it because the characters in the story are talking about butterflies and what happened to those butterflies in her story book.

What does the author want us to know?
- The author want us to know that butterflies are a beautiful creatures that don't need to be killed.


How are characters constructed in this text?
- The granddaughter is a innocent girl that write story, and the grandparents are uneducated and they're supportive.

What kinds of social realities does the text portray?
-  They are poor and hard worker farmers.

I didn't know about Treaty of Waitangi because I'm from Philippines, To be honest I only knew that Waitangi means Family. I learned that Waitangi was signed in 1840 February 6 to September 3, I would like to know more about Waitangi.

What I learned today

Today I learned how to not trust or believe in other things that are not true, like in social media or the fake news, I've seen a fake news that a teen got addicted in Facebook and start ignoring her parents and It may look real but It's not, I watched it from the ONION on internet that makes fake news.

 I also learned not to take too much time on gadgets because it can cause trouble on your health. I have a suggestion from you to not be addicted on Facebook or internet and not always believing other things that are not true.

Passion Project - Community Sport

Our passion project is about Community Sport, we're planning to invite the caregivers & parents to play sport.

I've learnt to communicate with my group and to create a form, the form we're making is for the caregivers & parents, they need to answer the form if they want to play sport.
It helps me achieve by inviting other families.

We've have done the poster for the caregivers & parents.

The next step we'ere going to do is hand out all the invitation form to the caregivers & parents

What does it look like? It's looks like your focusing harder on what you want to be.

It sounds like that your looking forward to something.

What does it feels like? It feels like the work is hard but in the end you'll get what you deserved.

Market Day

We had a market day with year 7, 8, and 9 it was fun selling our products with my group, our group company name was "The French Bakery" and our product was croquembouche, some people like our products and they love it, my favourite part was playing some carnival games and won the prize, the carnival game was like a ping pong ball and you bounce it into the table and hope that ball will get into the cup water with a balloon and if the the ball land on the cup water and have no balloon on that water, that means you didn't get it, I liked when I watch teachers putting their head on the wall with a hole and getting hit by a sponge with their face, If I did it again I would be happy and excited.
